Use the concentration on the liquid vial you are currently checking. Confirm the prescribed amount, the syringe scale, capacity and marking interval. Do not assume a refill has the same concentration. Never reuse another person's conversion.

Stop when information is unclear

If the label is incomplete, the result differs from pharmacy directions, the volume exceeds the selected capacity, or the result falls between markings, stop and ask your pharmacist. Do not round a number, split an injection or choose equipment based on this tool.
